ť ť ť I am 32 years old and my hair has been thinning for the past year or

ť ť ť all started with the birth of my third child. I knew all about the 4
ť ť month
ť ť ť fall out but noticed I seemed to be losing much more hair than I did
ť ť with
ť ť ť my other children. The hair loss seemed to come and go and I kept
ť ť thinking
ť ť ť it must be stress. Three months ago I went to a dermatologist and
ť ť began
ť ť ť spirolactone and rogaine (extra strength, men's version) Ofcourse, I
ť ť know
ť ť ť it is too early for any results, but the shedding is still going on
ť and
ť ť it
ť ť ť is so hard to deal with. I dread washing my hair and just can't
ť ť believe
ť ť ť this is really happening. My dermatologist did not do a scalp test,
ť ť but
ť ť ť said she would treat me the same way whether or not it was AGA. Bad
ť ť news
ť ť ť for me is that my mom has AGA so it is in the genes. Although, she
ť did
ť ť not
ť ť ť start experiencing hair loss until her 50's. I have had my thyroid
ť ť tested
ť ť ť and that seems fine.

ť ť ť Mentally, this is the hardest thing I have ever dealt with. I am
ť ť depressed
ť ť ť and sad. My husband is supportive but it is hard for him to
ť understand.
ť ť ť Although, my friends can't tell yet, I CAN! My ponytail seems half of
ť ť what
ť ť ť it used to be and new growth is thin. With every hair that is shed,
ť I
ť ť feel
ť ť ť I am that much closer to losing it all. I have 3 beautiful children
ť ť and
ť ť ť some days I just don't know how I can live the rest of my life like
ť ť this. I
ť ť ť want to be active in their lives, but don't see that happening if the
ť ť hair
ť ť ť loss continues. Is there anything that really works? I want
ť to
ť ť be
ť ť ť hopeful, but it seems that so much you read is not very reassuring.

ť ť ť it is important to act right away, how do I know I am doing the right
ť ť ť thing?

ť ť It's horrible thinning at any age, however, i dont know if im offending
ť ť anyone but i started thinning at age 26 (now 30) and i feel robbed of
ť my
ť ť life and havent enjoyed it since that age as much as i used to. My Derm
ť ť says ive got hairloss typical of a menopausal woman yet i am not
ť ť menopausal.

ť You haven't offended anyone and I totally understand what you're saying I
ť would feel exactly the same way. I hope you can get it to stop and or get
ť a cosemetic solution that works for you.

ť It is horrible at any age it robs you of who you used to be.

I agree. Thinning at any age would be hard to deal with, but for me, being in my early thirties it is so hard for me to grasp. I look around at people in my peer group and I am jealous of their hair...how crazy is that?!? I find myself constantly checking out people's hair. I am not the same person on the inside and what scares me the most is I know this is something that progresses over time. So what is the answer? I have a beautiful family and I need to be there for them and I have great friends and want to live life to the fullest. I wish someone would come up with a solution...they would make millions.
