Hope fading...Hairsite? (Rogaine, Minoxidil)

I can't give you a reason, wish I could. It never worked for me and I started using it when it was available by prescription only. I think the reasons for women's hair loss are so diverse compared to men's hair loss. It just works for some (and I haven't read that many success stories). I now wear a topper (for a bit over a year) and while it's not what I wanted going into my "hairmare" I'm glad at leas that there is something I can do.l

ť My Regaine 5% update. Started using it in August 07, so it's been 9.5
ť months, and i've just purchased another 3 bottles of the thing. Reason for
ť purchase is that i thought i'd give it the 12 month MAX timeline, in the
ť hope that something miraculous might occur in the last 3 months and also
ť that i can say "been there done that". Mind you, i did 11 or so months on
ť the 2%, and F all happened.

ť To be honest, my hair is so frikin thin now that only cosmetic solutions
ť can give it any boost. A met a friend today that i've known for 13 years,
ť and I made her feel my hair where the extensions were not attached, and she
ť agreed it's gotten thinner since we last met in February 2008.

ť Just goes to prove that it isnt my imagination and that the thinning is
ť getting progressively worse month on month
ť
ť I hope other Regaine users are having better luck than I!
ť
ť Hairsite, i'd be grateful if you could feedback reasons for why Regaine
ť works for some and not others?
