Hi Sadie,
Well, I have regrowth all over. But I'm not sure if it's because of the Rogaine or not. I started in July of '07 so almost a year for me too. My problem now, once again, is an increase in shedding which I thought Rogaine was supposed to keep low. I'm thinking my hl might be due to low estrogen since I'm in peri, so I'm going to start the pill as soon as I get my period. Mixed emotions about that because it is my last and final hope for recovery. If it doesn't work, I don't know what I will do. Then if it does work, how do I get off the Rogaine? Psychologically, I can't survive any kind of dread shed. I'm having anxiety attacks about the shed I'm having now!!!
Sadie, I'm really sorry you're not seeing any results from Rogaine. I keep reading different things about Rogaine. Some say it grows hair. Some say it only prevents you from losing any more hair. And some say it only thickens and strengthens the hair you have, so who knows. Sorry that I don't remember, but are you taking any meds? If not, maybe it's time to consider that. Hang in there!!! I feel your pain.
