It is true that levongestrel has high androgenic activity. However, it needs to be calculated in a ratio to determine the amount that it actually is in the pill, i.e. 90 mcg of levongestrel could actually be less androgenic than another pill that contains a different progestrone at a higher amount. Please see my previous posts that lists out different bcps and their androgenic activity. I have been on TriPhasil for 10 years now (levongestrel) and never had a problem.
