If 2% regaine is used, there will be initial hair loss for 2-3 weeks and hair regrowth is seen a few weeks after that.Even if you stop it, only those hair that are regrown are lost.

Using regaine for just one day is not going to change anything on the scalp. So it can be stopped without any fear if you have used it for just one day.
