Spiro -Questions anyone? hairsite pls? (Spironolactone, Aldactone)
1. Spironolactone is not a synthetic hormone. It is an anti-androegn with a steroid like structure. It is similar to BCP because of its basic steroid like structure. But there are BCP which are non-steroidal.

3.All drugs have an acceptable upper limit in terms of the dose. But the upper limit of spiro is not yet determined. For treating hair loss in women, a dose of 200 mg per day is generally recommended.
