Desiccated Adrenals? (Telogen Effluvium)
» So i ended up speaking with the medical intuitive that sara spoke about
» (took me 4 months to get a call) - she said that the accutane triggered my
» hair loss but because I'm a "bundle of nerves" and "stress case", my
» adrenals being taxed was and still is the reason whymy hair is falling out
» (12 months later). She recommended taking desiccated adrenals. Anyone
» heard of this? I had high cortisol levels a few months ago and they are
» still at their upper range - and my TSH is boarderline hyper. i just want
» to ensure the desiccated adrenals actually won't compromise my high
» cortisol levels.
I have adrenal fatigue so I know some about this. If you cortisol levels are high that means your adrenals are working overtime staying in the fight or flight mode and if it continues that way then you will go into adrenal fatigue as I did and you could possibly crash as I did and I basically ended up with Chronic Fatigue Syndome. I'm treating my adrenals and thyroid but by the time I was finally diagnosed the damage was done. Please, please go to www.realthyroidhelp.com and post on the general thyroid forum and Deborah Sue can answer any questions you might have and she can tell you better than I as to what is going on with your high cortisol.
