There is always a chance you can save your hair or at the very least( be presentable as some of us call it) by taking the meds early in your hair fall. Even if your mom and grandmother have AGA. However I doubt going on and off them will help. You need a good doctor that is knowledgeable with hair loss. 400 mg of spiro sounds very high especially if you are taking androcur too. You are probably shedding from so much. If I were you I would get on a plan and try to stick to it. Drink more water and moisturize to help prevent your skin being dry. Since hair grows in cycles (like 4 months etc) you cant keep going on and off your meds or the growth cycle will never adjust. Im no doctor but thats just how I see it after going thru hair loss.
