dread shed with bcp? (Birth Control Pills & Hair Loss)

Thanks, Delilah. You are giving me hope. But what I don't understand is why would an increase in estrogen cause my hair to shed more? I would think that that would stop the shedding. It's not like people take Yasmin to grow hair, you know, like Rogaine which does cause an increase. I'm just so confused by it all and not even sure if this is the solution. I just washed my hair and lost over 200 again. I called my husband up to show how the hairs so easily fall out of my head. Of course, I was crying terribly and really don't know how much more of this I can take. Does anyone know if Xanax causes hl? I need to start taking something because I'm to the point where I don't want to wake up. Actually, I've been at that point for a few months now.
