good results with cytomel (Thyroid Conditions & Hair Loss)
Its a little complicated. I have been experimenting with different doses due to these strange side affects from my thyroid meds. My numbers always came up normal range though, except t3's were a little low. I still had severe hair loss. Recently I am having touble tolerating my meds and vitamins to treat adrenal glands. After 3 weeks I crash on any dose or combination. Crash for me is getting dizzy and foggy. My range with hair loss was tsh 1.580. free t4 1.18. ferritin 55. t3 free 2.5. I am gettng blood work up this sat will let you know. Last hair count 170. That is great for me. I am currently taking 1/4 of 5 mg cyomel and 1/4 of 30 gram armour for about 6 weeks. Armour by itself never helped my hair. I know my numbers are off but I cannot function on the correct dose. But for the average women it could help.. Also look into cortef for adrenals I started that but I think it gives me migraines. I don't know. I iron levels went from 15 to 55 I am still working on it, but that never helped my hair. There is alot of blood work that is available that will tell you alot, like ion testing. They can formulate a vitamin just for your needs. I so not sit around thinking about dizziness and hair loss I eat right and work out regularly. I do not know the answer for me but I hope it assists you. Dr Fosters had this powder for adrenal and thyroid too.
