Hysterectomy and hair loss (Menopause, Peri-menopause & Hair Loss)
» I've been reading the posts on this forum, and now I'm really confused.

» to NOT give me standard HRT.
» That was when it hit. I'd been off my progesterone cream for several
» months, and suddenly my hair was just falling out like crazy. I had no

» slowed, but never returned to normal. I suspect another issue was that I
» had been strenuously dieting and was taking in far too little protein. I've
» had a fair amount of shedding now for the last 3 or 4 years. I used to
» have thick bangs, but now the hair is so thin in front it just looks

It you don't have a uterus you don't need the progesterone cream. Do you know what dose of estrogen cream you're on? Maybe you should switch to the Vivelle dot (which is also bioidentical) so that you can get a more consistent dosage of the estrogen.
