» That's horrible that your doctor discontinued your prescription for it. How long were you on it before you noticed your face was rounder? I've been on it for 5 months now, but haven't noticed my face changing. Did it help you grow back your hair? I'm pre-menopausal, but maybe my dermatologist was okay with prescribing it because I'm on birth control. I'd ask for a referral to another physician if your current one won't prescribe it. When I was referred to my dermatologist, I was very firm that I wanted to be prescribed this...can you find a place that prescribes it online? Also, what was your dose? I'm on 1mg, and I know it's advisable to be on 2.5 mg, but my derm wanted to start with the lower dose and see how it goes. I see a lot of sprouts, but I'm not sure if it's from the propecia or from my constant shedding.
