Weight Gain on Propecia? (Propecia, Finasteride for Women)
» » I see some sprouts but the crown has gotten thinner somewhat. I am currently on .5 mg daily because of fear of long term side effects. I have been taken it for 4 months. I don't plan to take it for a long time because it can potentially cause harm to a women's body since it can alter one's estrogen level. Too much estrogen can lead to breast and uterine cancer. I plan to stop after a year and hope that the rogain will be able to retain what propecia has helped to grow. I am not to sure if I want to search for a different derm who is willing to prescribe propecia to a woman because I still have around 5 refills of propecia left. Besides, I don't have really bad thinning now and any derm who sees me now would be reluctant to prescribe propecia to me both because of the degree of my hair loss and my sex.
