Who has had regrowth? (Androgenetic Alopcia (AGA) Female Pattern)

I went to see a naturopath because I was making no progress on the hair front. I have been seeing him for over a year. He has fixed almost every health problem I had, except the hair. DOn't get me wrong now, he fixed my ferritin level, that I couldn't get higher despite my OBGYN and her iron supplements. And there is regrowth on the sides, and in the hairline, a lot. But on the top, maybe only 10-20 new hairs that I can see.

So he did a salivary test for hormones. And says I have low DHEA and low testosterone. And I am on spironolactone to lower the testosterone, so I don't know if I should be on it or not. He says to ask my doc to lower it, but I wonder if it is doing anything at all to help, or is just making things worse. Any ideas?
