» I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid, with low ferritin. I started
» loosing about 150 to 270 hairs a day after the birth of my son, almost 2

I personally hate synthroid. I know someone who switched to armour and now her hair is fine. It was falling out with synthroid. Dry skin is a sign of hypothyroidism...maybe you are still at the point where you need to adjust the dose of synthroid. I'd give it more time, 3 months doesn't seem long enough.
