I haven't been on this forum for a long time but use to post regularly in the belief that I had TE due to low ferritin. Well, I did have very low ferritin, but what I've also discovered in the last 6 months is that along side this I had fibromyalgia and more significantly a form of lupus, which no doubt has been the cause of my on/off hair loss over the years. I just thought I would post this as it might be an avenue that any ladies who have been experiencing hair loss for a number of years might wish their doctors to explore and at least cross off the list.
