Crushing BCP in shampoo? (Birth Control Pills & Hair Loss)
Now, since I stopped taking my ortho tri cyclen lo in april and have sworn off birth control pills FOREVER because of the hair loss, I am left with 3 packs of BC at my disposal. I was thinking of sending them to a friend who takes the same pill, but I had also heard rumors that crushing BC and putting it into your shampoo will make your hair grow thicker and faster.
do you think there is any truth to this?
I would probably be too afraid to try it anyway, just in a case any of the hormones DO get absorbed into my bloodstream and make things worse.
