I would guess that your hair loss has nothing what-so-ever to do with the Mirena, matter of fact if you would have left it in I bet your hair would have started growing back. The reason it isn't the Mirena is because you only had it in for 3 months and your hair starting falling out in less than that amount of time. Hair response is 4 months. You would be best be served by continuing some sort of hormone replacement at your age (I'm 45 so I feel you). Progesterone works like the medication aldectatone, check it out. Take your progesterone, I bet hair will grow back.
