there are some really good websites about paratyroid disease. i was told all of my blood tests were normal, but when I went to a new doctor yesterday, she was looking over my bloodwork from other doctors and asked me if I knew my paratyroid results were abnormal.

I was shocked because I had been told all my bloodwork was fine. I asked for a copy and sure enough my pth was 6, and the normal range for my age ( I am 27) is 10-65. I am livid. Why didn't anyone see this?

I go back to my doc in 2 weeks and you can bet I will demand to see an endo immediately. hypoparathyroidism is can be a sign of some bad bad things including certain cancers.
