It sounds to me like you need to get some blood work done. Maybe if there is a good endo in your area you could get to. I went to my gyno many times and she eventualluy admitted that hormonal problems are really the specialty of endo's. The fact that you haven't menstrated in two months is not a good sign.

The good news is, if it is hormonal, there are some good medications out there to help get you balanced. There so many who's hormones come back fine as does every other test, and so they are left on their own as far as treating their hair loss.

I know 300 a day is terrifying!! And I know that horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach. I know it all too well. Just know you are among people who understand here.

Try to get those hormones tested as soon as possible!! Do whatever you have to do to get in the doctors office (tell them you are in terrible pain..not a complete lie). That's what I did!!

ť ť I have always had alot of hair but now I lose probably 300 hairs on
ť days that I wash it...just an approximation I'm too scared to start
ť counting...but every other day I sweep my floors & it is sooo depressing
ť how much of it is there just 2 days later!!! Went to the dr today & of
ť course all the blood work was normal. She thinks it's just stress related.
ť But I convinced her to test my iron levels also. Anybody know a good dr I
ť can see in NYC that they've thought was competent?
