don't worry I have the crazy bald dreams too, only I wake up to get out of the bed and my hair is still on the pillow!! Hate it!

ť ť It sounds to me like you need to get some blood work done. Maybe if
ť there
ť ť is a good endo in your area you could get to. I went to my gyno many
ť ť times and she eventualluy admitted that hormonal problems are really
ť the
ť ť specialty of endo's. The fact that you haven't menstrated in two
ť months
ť ť is not a good sign.

ť ť The good news is, if it is hormonal, there are some good medications
ť out
ť ť there to help get you balanced. There so many who's hormones come back
ť ť fine as does every other test, and so they are left on their own as far
ť as
ť ť treating their hair loss.

ť ť I know 300 a day is terrifying!! And I know that horrible feeling in
ť the
ť ť pit of your stomach. I know it all too well. Just know you are among
ť ť people who understand here.

ť ť Try to get those hormones tested as soon as possible!! Do whatever you
ť ť have to do to get in the doctors office (tell them you are in terrible
ť ť pain..not a complete lie). That's what I did!!

ť Thanks so much for your words of support...I have had my hormones tested.
ť I'm really low in progesterone. I tried using the bioidentical
ť progesterone drops but I was very sensitive to the dosage my dr. put me on
ť initially...i got very spaced out & nauseous on them. Now i'm trying the
ť progesterone creams don't know how effective they are. I'm only 44 but
ť probably perimenopausal my cycles have not been normal for the last year &
ť half...so not getting a period of 2 months is just part of the process.
ť I've had a nutritionist tell me that's probably the cause of my HL. Then
ť my dr told me this week it's probably stress. They really are guessing
ť about these things. You would think they could take something like HL more
ť seriously for women. We tend to think of it as normal for a man to lose his
ť hair. But when you're female & its happening to you it's heartbreaking. The
ť worst is that feeling that you're totally helpless to make it stop &
ť totally clueless as to what's causing it. It's that feeling that you have
ť no control. I've actually had a number of dreams where i'm standing in
ť front of a mirror & suddenly my hair starts coming out of my head in
ť massive bunches & i'm bald. YIKES!!!!!!!!! :-(
