first you should go get a really good physical. it might be thyroid which is causing your hair loss. i starting losing my hair in my early 20s. the more i stressed out about it the more i would lose. i let it take over my life, and that caused more to come out.ok take alot of deep breaths and easier said then done try to focus on positive things. i too have more hair then the average alopecia person, i dont know if i would go the extention route because every couple of months they have to attach it again and believe me they all tell you it doesent damage your own hair IT DOES!!! its all about money to these people they have a buisiness to support, and they dont have what we are suffering from HAIR LOSS!!! ALOT OF THESE PEOPLE PLAY ON YOUR EMOTIONS so go with someone who you can trust. if you go with a replacement you can just get a smaller one which i have its on clips and i remove it when im home i try not to wear it unless i go out so it doesent damage my hair or put so my pressure on it. also i thinned out my piece soooo much so it doesent look like it so much hair and more natural. it clips on, i wash it myself once a week but you also go and get it blown out if you like. i wash and blow it out on a head so again its not so much pressure on my own head . im trying too to save my own hair as much as possible. i would really think twice about whatever route you go because it is a lifelong commitment and once you do it you cant go back. hair extentions do pull your hair becaouse your weakness is that so it not going to react to well. people with tons of strong healthy hair react diffrent. you can go on josephparis.com in ny. thats where i just ordered one. he seems really nice and seems like he cares. hes been working with me for a couple of weeks fixing my old pieces from other companys. im still wainting for his piece to come in for me. and no i never ordered online it seems to good to be true. one more thing it does cost at least $3000 a piece.i hope this all helps. good luck!! let me know » »
