Hair Suddenly Coming Out in Handfuls (Support Forum & Misc Topics)

» Perimenopause seems to be the trigger to the hair loss. After finding

» That was 2 months ago. I lose very few hairs now. I'm amazed. Spiro, at

» My advice would be to forget the dermatologist and see an endocrinologist.
» I wish that I'd done it years ago. They know about hormones and how to

» Good luck and I'm thinking of you.

Hi Trish,

I definitely agree with you about seeing an Endo instead of a Derm. And also agree with you on the Spiro. I take it too and have been taking it for almost 7 months now. I am also going through Peri (I'm 45), but my HL trigger was a low carb diet I went on last year. Thank god the HL has slowed down!

Happy it worked for you! :-)
