dermatologist appointment (Support Forum & Misc Topics)

I have a derm appt coming up, for a skin issue. But,as long as I am there, I thought I'd address the hair loss issue too. What do I ask the derm about my hair loss? Can he/she do all the blood tests, or must these be done by an endo? Should I ask for a scalp biopsy and hair pull test? And, are these covered by health insurance? I'd like to find out once and for all if I have te or aga, so I can take some positive steps to slow the loss down. Any questions I should be asking the derm? Thanks!
