Hi Smelly,
Since you have not used it for a while, let your nose be your guide. :-P You may need to use it twice a week till you get it under control again. But if once a week seems to do the trick for you, so be it. I understand the fungal problem to be something that needs treating regularly for an indefinate period. If the sulfur smell bothers you a conditioner helps with that. Please update. Good luck!
