Scalp Pain, burning scalp - what helped you (Hair & Scalp Odor Problem)
Darca,
Whatever is bothering your scalp and causing it to burn is most likely in your shampoo. Since you are in the Czech Republic I am not sure what products you will be able to get your hands on. But if I were in your shoes I would go to a health food store and find some shampoo that doesn't have Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate or Ammonium Laruyth Sulfate in it. A lot of us have found relief through Jason Dandruff Shampoo as it treats dermatitis and psoriasis. There are other brands but I know this one works. The few times I've experienced a burning sensation on my scalp is when I've used a shampoo with ingredients that are too harsh for the scalp and it may take a few trials to find out which shampoo works best for you. It seems a good many of us have used the harsh shampoos for years and are discovering that they eventually show their harsh effects through these various scalp conditions. Let us know what you find out. Good luck!
