can diet cause 1 1/2 years of on going hair loss? (Diet & Hair Loss)

» propecia with no success the spiro made my menstrual cycle more messed up
» then it was and the propecia did nothing the 6 months that i was on it. I

» every two weeks then back to normal for a month then again every two weeks.
» My hair is dry, life less the texture has changed. i don't know what else

Have you had you thyroid checked? I do think my hair problems were kicked off by losing weight too fast back in 2000. I ended up on thyroid meds in 2005 but I truly think the weight loss screwed my thyroid up. If you lose weight too fast your thyroid will go into "hybernation" mode and for whatever reason mine never did correct itself after I stopped dieting. You need to have your Free T3 and Free T4 checked.
