can diet cause 1 1/2 years of on going hair loss? (Diet & Hair Loss)

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, and thank you for responding to my post. Yes, i did have my thyroid checked it showed i had anti bodies, but my t3 and t4 were fine the doctors said and that a lot of people have anti bodies. I find it strange not only is it falling out what ever is left on my head is life less, dry the texture has completely changed, and i have grey hair all over not from new growth the hair is just turning grey(loosing it's color)the dryness is not from it being damaged it's coming from a lack of something in side my body. I've tried vitamins, spiro ect... i don't know what else to try i don't think it's female hair loss something is wrong?
