Burning scalp in the front (Scalp Pain, Tight Scalp)
Help!!
I've been doing so well for the past few months ... ferritin is up to 75 and the Minoxidil is really working. I have a lot of new growth and my shed was almost completely normal. For the past couple of weeks,however, I've had on and off scalp burning in a small patch on the front of my hairline and now I'm noticing an increase in shedding. It seems to be worse after I use mousse as opposed to gel. Could it be from product? A hot blow dryer? I'm freaking out that I'm going to start this nightmare all over again. I called my Derm and she told me take Motrin (?) and make an appointment if it didn't "settle down". She said it was probably inflammation. Anyone else have this problem? There's no definite thin spot where I feel the burning. Thanks.
