Hi Heather, I live Glasgow Scotland. Like yourself the hair I have left is in very bad condition... I describe it as being dead. All that my doctor will tell me is that my thyroid is normal but I have read that I should be getting my Free T3 and Free T4 checked also. To be honest my doctor is really not interested at all. Anyway I went to my appointment on Tuesday and I had some hair taken (pulled from the root) which will then be sent away for testing. This will show the contition of the hair and also what I am lacking in. I have to go back for the report on 12 March so I will certainly let you know how I get on. There is also a further test you can have done which is basically a full body screening but again it is done from a sample of your hair which is sent to Dallas. From this they can tell your eating, sleeping habits, mood swings and how your body as a whole is functioning. They then tell you what vitamin and minerals etc can help along with other products to help your hair recover. I will sent you the web address if you want to take a look for yourself.
