Zinc (Hair & Scalp Odor Problem)
I just found a really cool natural health website. It has cures for lots of ailments. Click on "body odor" and "scalp infections" for some ideas of other things to try. One thing I found a pattern in as far as smells go is that we are not getting enough ZINC. I had some in my cabinet and started taking them again. I have been using the Head & Shoulders for a few months now and it seems to be working okay. I can still notice a slight smell when I wake up in the morning but its not nauseating strong like it used to be.
As I posted before about the triple antibitic salve, the CAUSE of out odor problems are coming from something inside. We keep treating the outside and getting temporary fixes and we need to find out how to treat the cause (whatever that is?!?) on the inside. I did not end up going to the dermatologist since the H&S has been working and I started taking the Zinc. I will go if I find out she can take a culture and send it out to see if there is any evidence of a bateria or fungus. I'm really hoping I've just been zinc deficient!
Also on the website there is a section on how to do "oil pulling" which seems to have an array of benefits. I have done it for 3 days so far and I have noticed three things already. First, my skin is really soft and second, my hair seems softer, and third, my teeth feel clean all day long. I'm hoping it will help with a lot of things that other people have used it for too. I've also started doing my morning cocktail shot of 1 tbsp natural apple cider vinegar (with the mother), 1 tbsp water, and 1 tbsp raw honey, stir it up and drink it down! Tastes really good after you get used to it. It makes you warm inside almost like a shot of whiskey!

It is really nice to share information with other people experiencing the same challenges that you are facing. I know that we will come up with an answer if we keep working together.
Thanks,
Denise
