Dandruff (Telogen Effluvium)

I have always had a little bit of dandruff but now that I have lost so much hair I have tons. I have tried many differnt anti-dandruff shampoos and nothing has worked. Currently I am using head and sholders and one from the salon where my step mother works. I don't really see any differnce using these two. Anyone have any suggestions of shampoos that work? Could the dandruff be linked with my hair loss at all? Thanks
