nizoral (Scalp Inflammation, Irritations & Dermatitis)
Yes I have but not so bad that I had to stop. If anything, the itch is subtle and comes and goes. Unless your hair loss also accelerates while on Nizoral or the itch has become very frequent, you may want to continue with Nizoral in spite of the itch. It is a good shampoo, usually well tolerated by most. Besides, I believe you are not supposed to use Nizoral more than once or twice weekly while you are on the maintenance phase.
It's always a good idea to alternate Nizoral with another shampoo, eg: Tea Tree Oil shampoo (nature's antiseptic), emu oil shampoo (nature's anti-inflammatory agent) etc etc.
Another thing to consider is topical Dermovate. This is another topical that is not intended for daily use, but occassionaly use can actually have very good anti-inflammatory effect for your hair and scalp. You can check out some of the posts in the men's forum.
Last but not least, if you have scalp irritations, be sure to stay away from Rogaine or anything that contains propylene glycol. Another thing to avoid is perms, relaxers, and ppd based hair dyes.
Not a doctor here, whatever you do, be sure to do that under the supervision of your doctor.
