hair loss and diet advice please!! (Diet & Hair Loss)

i have been on every medication possible, done so many blood testpossible, ihave thyroid anti bodies but ft3 and ft4 are all normal i was also told that i was gluten intolerance? i don't really think this is the case? i was also told that being greek and having body hair can cause your hair to fall(i'm hairy but not that bad. i was on a diet a became very sick prior to the hair loss it has been almost 2yrs since it started..i went to see another derm who feels that it is from the diet and has prescribed me a prescription vitamin, he says it is not Female hair loss or male pattern balness he says i have a diffused hairloss and he has seen this before? does it really take this long for hair to recorrect it self after a diet? Will it come back and healthy if this is the reason?
