My hair was my pride and joy, however, although it was quite thick, long and shiny I felt it was a bit flat, so I decided to get a perm. Just after getting the perm my scalp became dry and itchy with a burning sensation. The following months saw a significant amount of hairloss (around 50%)and I was inconsolable.
