- FDA (U.S. Food and Drug
Administration) gave clearance to Rogain Extra
Strength For Men. The formula is based on 5%
minoxidil, a much higher concentration than the
existing Rogaine in the market that contains only
2% minoxidil.
- Rogaine Extra Strength For
Men will be available as an over-the-counter
product in drug stores around Christmas. Retail
price is expected to be in the range of US $30
for one month supply. The price of regular
Rogaine (2%) will come down as soon as the extra
strength formula becomes available in the market.
- Clinical studies have
shown that Rogaine Extra Strength For Men
performs 45% better than regular Rogaine. Also,
participants tend to respond faster to Rogaine
Extra Strength For Men.
- Rogaine Extra Strength For
Men is manufactured by Pharmacia & Upjohn.
