| You are going to hear more and more about HGH (Human
Growth Hormone) as we approach the next millenium. While clinical studies are still far
from conclusive in determining its benefits for hair growth and other anti-aging
attributes, many companies are already promoting HGH as a cure-all from baldness,
wrinkles, to impotence and weight problems , just to name a few. Some internet web sites even claim that there are up to 28,000 clinical studies that revealed a proven list of life changing benefits that can be achieved by HGH. Also, consumers' interests in HGH is evidenced by the best selling book "Grow Young With HGH", authored by Dr. Ronald Klatz, president of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Cenegenics in Las Vegas, U.S. is among the first to promote hormnone replacement therapy as the core anti-aging treatment for its patients. Based on the research and studies of Dr. Daniel Rudman in 1990 and other researchers in the field, Cenegenics prescribes a synergy of hormone replacement therapy, optimal nutrition and exercise training for its patients. According to a press release published by Business Newswire, Hawley, PA., studies published in the New England Journal of Medicine show that HGH may reverse human biological aging by restoring muscle mass, decreasing body fat, restoring hair loss, restoring hair color, increasing energy, increasing sexual function, and improving immune function etc. Many companies are now introducing dietary supplement that are reported to be able to boost certain growth hormones in our body. For example, Garden State Nutritionals (GSN) in New Jersey, U.S. will introduce a HGH/Potency Formula dietary supplement that will contain Androstenedione, Ashwagandha Root Extract, Korean Ginseng Root Extract, Muira Puema Stem and Green Tea Leaf Extract along with Thiamin, Roboflavin, Niacin and a hosts of other vitamins and amino acids. The product is intended to stimulate the pituitary gland and restore or increase HGH levels in our body. According to Dr. Ronald Klatz, doctors have found that when HGH levels are restored, patients begin to feel and look younger and more vital. in August 1996, the FDA approved HGH use for pituitary-deficient adults. At this point, HGH treatment has not been approved by the FDA for general consumption. However, many companies try to promote their products by claiming that they can help the body stimulate the release of growth hormones through natural means. |
