Piven has DEFINATLEY had work done.
If you watch the movie �HEAT� you will see just how far back his hairline had regressed.You could have landed a plane on his forehead.
Even in �Entourage� it is obvious that he is deliberately combing his hair forward & using some hair thicker to give the illusion that his hairline is thicker then what it really is.
Who really cares? He's human,just like us.

It looks like a toupee, he definitely had something done, he was losing his hair big time even when he was doing the sitcom Ellen and that was at least a decade ago.

you can always tell along the temples if it is a toupee of not. look at the diagonally styled hair that is unnaturally being combed/styled from the hairpiece to the side hair.

i wore one of these pieces of crap for a few months and could not take it. literally. they buzz the top of your head down and glue this thing in. then you have to try and style it with your natural hair.

you will have to trust me.....the ads, the celebs...makes you look like it is worth a try. unless you are elton john and want to travel with a toupee stylist you will ultimately do nothing more than embarass yourself unless you have had the sad fortune of using it to cover bad work. they are hell

But if you factor in a few showbiz variables with the most important fact of them all which would be NOBODY CARES! His fans don't care. Okay so I googled Piven and that has to be a rug. But IMHO it looks good. Much better than he would if he were bald. And you're right Bodhi -- nobody gives a sh*t or can even tell if it looks halfway decent. I met a guy yesterday who wears and lord if it didn't look real to me.

I really think so Boston. Funny that I just noticed this post today when on Friday afternoon I went to the place where I work out and got in a conversation with this fellow name Jimmy. I've seen him around for a couple years. Nice man, but he wears a pretty obvious toupee. It looks good from certain angles but the front is a little too much for him. He's in his late 40's and it's a thick job with bangs. But I mentioned it to a couple friends of mine there and their basic responses were "Get the fuck outta here, are you serious?" That's a true story. So, again, while we might seek them out. The average person isn't that perceptually tuned into hair the way we are.
