I bet if you asked a guy in the 1950s this question, he would have bet everything that baldness would be cured within 50 years. Yet here we are, 62+ years later and there is no cure.
My optimistic guess is that baldness will be cured in the next 20 to 25 years.

A guy in the 1950s would probably also have expected us to have vacation resorts on other planets by now too. Our expectations for progress in general have slowed down a lot since then.
But a viable commercial treatment (I didn't say cure) for MPB still seems very possible inside of this decade IMHO.

I've heard this one before. But I wasn't so confident on the sourced studies, and besides I didn't figure how to measure out the milligrams of capsaicin and whatnot.
