bad hair experience at HSN (Hair Replacement Systems)

Ive been going to a hair replacement center here in Nevada for almost 15 years about the same time theyve been opened.Ive always have had good repore with Mark and Erin owners of Hair Solutions of Nevada formally Hair Systems of Nevada. I recently ordered 2 systems and had been wearing one that was cut in 2 months ago with bad results.For the most part Ive been getting a system that isnt the style I want and just put up with it.I went in yesterday to get the other one cut in and ask if they could replace the one I didnt like.Erin cops an attitude with me about it .I try to expalin how my systems never are what I ask even though I send pictures and even draw pictures of how I want it done.

So now even takes this personal and proceeds to completely abuse my head and system .She proposly cut the front down to the lace in a 1 inch area and blamed it on me when I trimmed the excess lace off before the cut in.Also she was dragging the brush thru my hair so hard she ripped the lace on both the right side and left side shredding the lace and completely miss cutting the system all over.It looked worse then the one I bought in . I told Mark what she did and he told me he was sorry and would replace the one I bought in and would also try to replace the one Im now waering that Erin his wife damaged.How I have to wait 5 weeks to get my other systems all because Erin took what I said to heart as a slap on her.At one point he just soaked my head to the point water was running down my face all over me .Another time she used 3 different hair sprays just making a mess.She was combing my hair so hard she was hurting my ears and back neck.This was by the far the worst cut in Ive ever had any time.For a 15 year customer to be treated like this was way out of line.Now I feel the need to try to find another source or just start letting my wife cut my hair in since we take care of all my the maintenance our selves except the actual cut in.

To any one who lives in Las Vegas and is using a Hair Solutions or HSN product or is thinking of using one beware. You could be in for problems if you dont get what you pay for.

Your post just confirmed my belief. Hair replacement is a dirty business run by unprofessional grade school technicians and greedy owners.

Why not get a hair transplant instead? At least it's real hair !

For the most part (I made a hair joke) all systems are really alike at all hair salons.Some are better quality only when you order human hair with a thin edge and lace .What it really comes down to is proper fit hair style and cut in.Like I said I have got to the point me and my wife have learned all phases of the hair system .Making the mold ,cutting the mold into the new system,taking it off and on ,doing front tape changes ,back hard bond changes and making any alterations I need if the system becomes a problem.The phase we havnt learned is the cut in.I know my wife can do this if it was neccessary.Ive tried my best to take my hair out of the hands of incompitant help and arrogant owners.Ferral charges $5000 for 2 systems I get 2 for 1200 and I can bet there about the same .Only differance is the style might be better or a better cut in etc.But you still have to have it maintianced.Thats what was costing me money and time .So for the last 6 years Ive taken that away from HSN and brought it home. But I still cant get the style I want no matter how many times I try to explain.When someone is making your system that can actually talk to you or see you chances are it will not be what you expect.Im willing to bet 75% of all hair systems come from about the same place or companies.But all salons say there is micro fine undetectable and all that selling pitch.There all the same.

Why dont I get a HT you ask?
For one the cost and chance for even bigger problems .Im 50 now and my hair has changed again and Im not willing to risk the money and disappointment of a bad HT.

Im liky to a wife now that backs me and no matter now upsett I get she stands my me.

Take it off and shave your head then,being paranoid is worse than the actual hair loss,or even get a better WIG!

I personally shave my head. I wore systems. They suck! And there are unethical companies all over the place. Just waiting to suck you in and take your money. If that happened to me at the place in Nevada, I would have punched that guy in the face and would have gotten my money back. One way or another, I would get a refund. If you insist on wearing. Why don't you just order your own systems online. From a wholesale company and maintain them yourself? There are even videos posted online from guys who wear and will teach you how to do it properly. And they're not affiliated with any company. If I was ever going to get wear systems again, I would certainly do this. I wouldn't get a transplant. Not now. Much too inexact. I've seen probably 10 good ones on this site. And viewed probably 500. I wouldn't waste my money right now.
