Where can I find Laminaria angustata extract? (All Natural, Supplements & Diet)

Jacob posted an article about Laminaria angustata extract working like stem cells in growing hair and I became interested. I googled it and all I found were articles about it and threads on many hairloss forums. None of the websites said where I can find it.

I'm reading that it's a type of kelp. I went to ebay and google product search and searched for Laminaria. They only listed Laminaria Japonica Fucoidan.

Anyone know where I can find Laminaria angustata?

There's one place in Russia(I think) that sells it...but you'd probably need to be a company or ? to get it.

All that I could find was the dried seaweed:

I guess that you could steep it in boiling water, but I am not sure that it would be strong enough to do anything. What do the patents/studies say?

There is a diet supplement called Fucothin that is primarily Laminaria.

You can get it at VitaminShoppe and online most places.

Fucothin contains Laminaria Japonica. I believe that the studies were based on Laminaria Angustata - a different species of brown seaweed.

I have no idea. Not sure I'd want to try to make my own anyway. It's possible boiling water would kill the goodies?
