Almost any of the decent doctors could do that hairline on almost any HT patient if they chose to.
The question is -
Are you a good candidate to be able to support that hairline as you continue to lose more hair for decades to come?

Are we really gonna complain about the difference between an 80% density HT versus a 100% density natural hairline?
A hairline's compromised quality due to graft conservation is not the same thing as compromised quality due to the HT process itself. I think if you've got the donor grafts and the limited natural hair loss, you can have pretty much the perfect hairline again with a lot of high-quality HTs. IF you've got that donor supply to rip through.
IMO we just never see it because virtually nobody has the donor.
Remember, even when a guy gets a thick-looking NW#1 hairline transplanted, that still doesn't necessarily mean he has gone 100% reckless with the grafts in front. It only guarantees that he went about 1/2-2/3 reckless with the density and 100% reckless with the coverage.

how many guys do you think get 80 percent density?
If you lose half your hair on your head, lets say half your head goes bald, then the remaining hair is probably also about half as thick as it was before
if you can achieve even 40 percent density with a hair transplant you should be jumping up and down
most hair transplants are illusions, you have to comb them specially to get the appearance of hair
now if a guy just lost about 15 percent of the front hairline sure he can get a thick thick transplant and replace it
try to get 80 percent density on a NW 6
you are living a dream if you think that is possible

I never said it was possible for a NW#6.
Nothing even close. I doubt it would be possible for any more than maybe a (total lifetime loss) NW#3. Certainly nothing you would want to risk with only the current level of MPB treatments available.
I was speaking theoretically.
HT technology still takes a lot of beating for "unnatural looks" and I don't think it is all deserved. Modern HT results still look questionable on so many cases because practically every HT that ever happens is still seriously limited by the donor supply.
Lack of donor graft suppy + lack of patient's money supply = overstretched coverage at the expense of density. Even the best "full density" conservative HT cases we see are still covering most of the head with only 50-66% of the original density.
What I am saying is that if the donor supply problem is ever defeated, then traditional HTs (without any new advancements) could theoretically look better than we have ever seen them look in the past. And for some guys who are still pretty early in the MPB process, just the advent of a real permanent loss-prevention option alone would be enough to make the difference.
A top HT doc, re-creating a hairline with 80+ percent of the original density, WITH the next several inches of frontal area backing it up at the same kind of density . . . that would look amazing.

umm, i dont know how u say that. have u seen him recently? his hair is definately nice, but its not the best by far...he also grew it rather long a few years back and it looked kinda straggly. he has too much temple showing for me
![[image]](http://www.britneyspearswatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/02/jcchasez.jpg)
you can kind of see it in this pic, theres alot of temple showing. while im not insinuating he is receding, i personally dont like this hairline because its what i have had for like all my life.
If i could get a hair transplant, i would request that my hairline be brought to this:
![[image]](http://dlisted.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/lane_garrison.jpg)
i always wanted just a straight hairline that meets with the sides with no noticeable temple angles.
and as for best celeb hair, theres far better out there, ie:

Dempsey's hairline is better than a lot of guys' hairlines though.
I might wanna move it upwards a single centimeter if I was him at his current age (mid-40s?), but keep the same hairline shape overall.
I just don't understand the obsession with wanting to look 21yo all the time. At least not for men. Career, attractiveness to females, being taken seriously by other people in general . . . it all seems to be better in your later 20s & early 30s than at any other time in life. That's squarely in NW#2 territory for most men.

99 percent of the men i see in their 20s and 95 percent of the men in their 30s dont suffer from receding hairlines. i know it seems like thats false being we're all on a hair loss forum but in the real world, majority of people in such an age range seem to have no hair problems.
furthermore, having no recession later in life is clearly a benefit in regards to women contrary to what these guys tell you. Case in point:

Partly disagree with you. Being in my mid-30s, a third to half of my friends colleagues etc are receding - if not NW6-7 alltogether (I know it sounds stupid, but I actually counted them).
As many examples can prove it (e.g. one of my post about soccer stars Henry & Ljunberg), receding is not a problem of being attractive to women, the 1st parameters being CONFIDENCE IN LIFE and PERSONALITY (well before money, success etc).

i agree that its not impossible for guys with receding hairlines to find women..but im saying it surely is a HUGE plus to have a young mans head of hair later in life. Ask george clooney. And while lots of men recede as they get older, i really have noticed working in a city of over a million people that its not as common as we think

noones crying about that..this thread has nothing to do with that. it started off as the hairline you'd want if given a hair transplant, then it morphed into "success in life is clearly receding hairline territory" which is ridiculous and sad to convince yourself of because u cant have a perfect hairline.

so are you trying to say that the perfect hairline is good or bad, or that having great hair makes your life so much better? If so I disagree
we focus on our hair so much we think that if we only had our hair back our lives would be great, which assumes we would be so happy

here we have guys who are ADMITTING that their OWN personal appearance IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THEIR LIFE
and they get offended when others call them shallow
amazing
I guess that trying to contribute something to the world, or things like having a happy family, being a good father to your children, responsible citizen, loving brother or son, a good husband to your wife, ....actually contributing something to society, helping OTHER PEOPLE
all these things dont count for much to you guys
In most peoples lives the priorities go like this
My wife and my marriage
My family
My Friends
My work
I guess in your life the priorities are arranged as
My hair
My hair
My hair
and dont forget............My hair
yes hair is much more important
