I present the case of Sanjay.
A Norwood 6 patient, when he was going for his first HT, he was faced with the delimma that many patients in a similar situation do
- whether to place the grafts in the crown/swirl area and to have deep recessions, or,
- to first frame the face by having his desired hairline.
Sanjay has fine calibre, straight hair.
Sanjay chose the 2nd option.
His first HT consisted of a full length strip consisting of 5400+ grafts.
(A complimentary beard hair graft session was performed at the same time for him to see the healing and growth of his beard hair first hand, for possible future use in the top-crown areas).
The following video shows the results at 8 months.
Sanjay plans to utilise scalp, beard and robust body donor hair for his next session to cover the remaining bald areas.

I believe we have a very emotionally unstable individual on our hands here, no marco i dont have a 'drink' problem, however you might suffer from some sort of vision impairment yourself. Yes as anyone can see, there is a split second where the camera blurs just as the brush is stroked. While i dont know the importance of that, it is there.

The fault is mine.
I was holding the camera while taking the video as well as combing.
The correct way is to fix the camera on a tripod.
Everytime I brushed the hair, my hand moved a bit and the camera had to find focus again. Thats the reason for intermittent blurring. Its the camera trying to regain focus.
The next time Sanjay visits us, I will take a better video. Meantime, I hope this video did convey an idea of the resultant growth.

He should go with a short cut and I think it would look suhweet.

I think this is a far better hairline than the one you posted for Robert. The V shape hairline works very nicely for him, maybe it's just me, personally I am not too found of round shape hairline like the one you gave Robert.

Are results from beard hair still unpredictable? Is that why only a test session of 26 grafts was done for him?

Why does it matter whether he is caucasian or not? Are there things about hair transplant on caucasians that we should be aware of?

Dear Johnp,
There is a lot of misinformation about bht and beard hair to scalp transplants.
We know that they are successful and the healing is excellent.
That is why, as a matter of policy, we offer complimentary test BHT or beard hair to scalp transplants to patients going for a strip FUHT or scalp only FUSE.
This way the patient can see the donor healing, hair growth and texture issues of the transplanted hair first hand. He does not have to depend on differing views read on the internet.
The result of the patient's complimentary session by the FUSE technique speaks for itself.

Dear Craig,
Caucasian skin has less pigmentation. White scars may not be visible due to lack of contrast with the surrounding white skin.
A doubt sometimes voiced is whether any scars will be visible when a "white" caucasian gets a suntan.
Non Caucasian skin, (Asian, Oriental, negroid), on the other hand, has more pigment(color).
The non Caucasian skin will highlight any visible scars due to the contrast between any white dot scarring and the surrounding skin color.
