Difference between electrolysis and beard hair removal for BHT (Hair Transplant)

Hopefully Dr. A and Dr. Umar can contribute here.

I have had electrolysis treatments for a few years to permanently remove my back of neck hair, Rogaine induced forehead hair, ear hair, etc...

The results have largely been great, albeit slow.

In some places, I did get scarring/pigment changes that lasted for a few months.

Can Dr. A or Dr. Umar or any other knowledgeable person explain how these surgeons' hair removal from beard and other body areas (to transplant to scalp) leaves little scarring almost immediately post operation it seems.

I would think that these surgeons need to go deeper and probe more extensively in order not to kill the beard follicle -- i.e., extraction for BHT is more intensive than a quick electrolysis zap.

Thanks.

Why does that matter how they did it? I have seen both Arvind and Umar's pics, there is no scarring whatsoever and that's all I care.

Their insights may help other doctors improve and start offering beard hair HTs.
Dr. Arvind is always forthcoming in his advise but lately I miss reading his posts. He should post more often.
