Who is the best at FUE? (Hair Transplant) |
Hi Guys,
Wondering who the best is? Right now I'm most seriously considering Bisanga, if I do go forward with a HT. I have also looked into Armani, but I think he might be a little too aggressive for my age. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I don't want to be screwed when I'm in my thirties if I decided to get a HT now. I'm roughly a Norwood 3V, but propecia for the last 6 months seems to have slowed if not stopped the hairloss for now.
What do you guys think about who else I should look into? Also, do you know if a surgeon's prices are fixed, or is there some room for negotiation?
Thanks,
Peter

Bisanga is a good choice, how about Dr. De Reys, these two are top of my list.I've done a lot of reseach recently and over the last year or so.
I've asked questions regarding FUE - These two have given answers, showed work they've done and so on,a few others have avoided actually answering certain questions.
Good luck

Do you have pics? There are a lot of good FUE doctors, not sure how to determine who's really the best at FUE. Price (and distance) is becoming more of a deciding factor for me these days. I know people say we shouldn't make a decision based on price but frankly I have seen good work from Bisanga, Cole, Woods, Arvind, Umar so ultimately it all comes down to $$$$$ and the distance.

The most consistent results by far have been from Drs. Arvind and Woods. Umar has results but he uses up too many grafts to accomplish what, in my opinion, the other two do in less. I will wait to see more results from Bisanga before I can comment.

Hey Peter,
Dr. Armani will work with you to place your hairline as you want. If you would like a more conservative hairline that can easily be accomplished. When I had my first surgery to cover zones 1,2 and 3, Dr. Armani and I had extensive conversations as to how the grafts would be used to get the best coverage and results.
Here are some examples below:

Your statement is fundamentally flawed. Dr Umar appears to use a lot of grafts because he is the only one out of all of these doctors that has transformed a multitude of patients lives using body hair! He has shown results like no other doctor on the planet in this regard. Heliboy, flash, the latest 10,000 graft patient, KF, need I say more?
Show me any doctor with comparable results using BHT. ANY!?
Body hair is thinner, mostly singles compared to head follicles which are thicker and often doubles and triples. It takes 3-4 times more body hair to achieve what head hair alone would give. That is the math. He has shown an uncanny ability to make body hair work more than the other doctors, and by so doing has given many guys their lives back…lets not use that against him!!!
He is an excellent FUE doctor. I have first hand experience in that regard. To suggest that he is excellent at BHT (an art that has eluded other so called FUE doctors) and somehow not at the top of the list in FUE is simply ridiculous. It's like accusing a ferrari mechanic of not being good at fixing a toyota! And that my friend is an understatement.

Hi Peter 25,
Many patients started off as Norwood 3Vs potential Norwood 4As. They lose the pre-existing hair on the front and the transplanted hair is retained for many years later. Most of these patiens probably would have had very little hair on front if the hair transplant had not been performed, hopefully, along with maximal medical therapy.
The most important thing to remember is that you want you hair to appear natural looking despite future hair loss. If you don't exhaust your donor resource, then you may even return to add density at a later time in the future.
Ultimately you have to decide on which doctor would approriately accommodate your needs. You must study each doctor's approach then consult with the one makes you comfortable. Hair loss is a progressive condition that may continue until you have a higher priority or concern.
You must also look at the quality of results and not the qantity. Please remember, you will live with the outcome of the FUE procedure for the remainder of your life so your question is a matter of putting faith in the chosen physician's insight.
