This is damn good. I am very impressed. I am quit skeptical of almost any HT surgeon barrign Woods, Cole & Jones--but I'm going to have to give Umar a serious look. Perhaps in a few months I'll be going to Rodando.

The video shows better than the pics you posted befeore, the pics you posted before make his hair look rougher than it really is.

Perhaps you may want to rethink that. Drs. Armani, Hasson & Wong belong on the list (at least, ahead of the last one - way ahead - not even in the same universe ahead). I put the last one right up there with the likes of Bosley, et al.

I hear what you are saying, superfly. If I could go back in time, I would certainly not even consider strip, no matter who did it. Armani does NOT do strip anymore - at all. His FUE results are looking quite awesome. H&W turns out some spectacular results, but that is strip.

This whole body hair transplant ordeal is turning into something like an acquired taste for me. If I had never seen any bht results before, I would say this is crappy for that many grafts. But after knowing the limitations of body hair, I say this is very good and probably better than most I have seen :)

@ Dr Umar

still think people should get the "widows peak"

that result looks decent but i still dont understand why people insist on getting the full front part of their hairline restored, it leaves less follicles available for areas that would be more ideal. having a completely intact front hairline and then having thin hair/visible scalp behind it is kinda sketchy. if you rock the v-shape and keep your hair short, it looks both good and natural. just my opinion.

The front part is important, it hides the forehead and makes people look younger instantly, you get more bang for your grafts :) IMO.

I agree, the bottom line is that there is no comparison to head donor, you really have to see a whole bunch of bht photos in order to appreciate this one, I am still in shock by the # of grafts used on him in order to get this result.

While a lot of guys lose their hair by frontal recession and/or diffuse thinning, as in my case, I see a lot of guys, even here where I work, that have no signs of loss on the frontal hairline or the top. All of their loss is in the crown. Those are the guys that you don't even notice have any hairloss until you see them walking away at some point, and even then loss in the crown just doesn't seem to be as big of a deal. The face is framed well so they still have a youthful look and balanced face.

I for one would love to have a decent hairline and mid-scalp density behind it and then have a much thinner crown if I didn't have enough donor to cover it all. I think done properly in the hands of the right surgeon, that would look very natural. The key is to have the density gradually get thinner as it approaches the crown area so it looks natural. It all comes down to preferences I guess though.

It's called framing the face.

I agree, also the crown can be an easier fix, you can always use body hair as filler to make the crown look less bald. There are more options for the crown.

That is the point of this video. The patient's crown is addressed as well. Thus far, only 3600 head grafts (in combination with body and beard hair) have been used to achieve this result. This procedure leaves another 3000-4000 head grafts, and yet another 8000 body and beard grafts for future use.

Even though we expect the crown to feel in some more, he is already scehduled for another 4000 grafts to add to the crown and touch up any other area that has lagged behind in density. He would have done this for global coverage at a decent density, and a head donor that looks normal and still have thousand of grafts more to spare.

This would have been impossible using head donor alone.
