5AR inhibitors other finastreide and dutasteride (Propecia, Avodart, Spiro, DHT & hormones ...)

Why are 5 AR inhibitors other than finastreide or dutasteride not popular?
For eg.. turosteride

They're not popular because they're not available.

But why pharmaceutical companies not trying to market them?

Because we already have finasteride and dutasteride. Nobody wants to spend millions of $$$ for FDA approval just to re-invent the wheel.

It seems to me that there would be no reason for developing any more of these things just to inhibit DHT.

Finasteride already targets DHT#2 about as well as anything probably ever will. And the side effects are the result of the drug's primary effect, so I see little hope of sidestepping them with any variations on the drug action.
