I found this one of him thinning. There is a picture with a toupee/fringeline gap, and one side view, and back view....You can see the toupee/fringeline.... ;-)

This guy is disgusting! Between the cheap rug, the cheap looking jewelery, the dated sunglasses and the overall cheesy bodybuilder thing, he should just kill himself.

His upper pecs have deflated with age............

Believe it or not, Gary Strydom was a big-name bodybuilder in the mid-to-late eighties and early nineties. He would have been in his late twenties to early thirties then.

He is probably about fifty years old now

The thing about spending so much of one's life lifting weights is this.............even if you excel at it, you are still going to age, and have an old body full of "ageing" muscles to show for it. Spending alot of time under sun-lamps ages the dermis also.

I hope a real Hair Multiplication process can come to fruition to give men like this back their hair. I know wearing that rug must be secretely humiliating to Strydom, and he is of the vintage that shaved heads are just hard to swallow. He was raised in a different era, and so were the women his age, making it tough to bic the whole thing up there. Plus, aged scalp doesn't look as good as a shave on a 25-year old.

Ageing is tough, but we cant stay 29 for our entire life. Just think, this man probably averages an hour a day in the gym, plus the drive over to the gym, every single day. If you add recovery time, warm-up time, "getting psyched" time, he probably still devotes at least one quarter of his waking hours to his body from the neck down. I still pump some iron, but Im glad Im not like I was in my twenties when I put it way up on the list of importance. Life passes the gym rats by, even if they dont recognize it at the time.....

I can think of worse ways to be at 50yo.

But I hear ya, I wouldn't be putting the necessary investment into staying THAT big at that age. He could lose 20 pounds of muscle and he'd still look huge.

On the other hand, I don't have my whole career identity wrapped up in the muscles either. I'm not an aging celeb that was known for being huge in his prime.

i remeber him back in the day he was quite popular, then he started losing his hair and his wife cleared out the bank account and said siyanara, he is to big but nothing wrong with keeping in shape as one gets older, it slows and diminishes the effects of aging,

Lets face it........the people on this forum (myself included)WISH they looked like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cutting people like this down does not make you look any better......and if you don't have the discipline that he does, then respect him for it and move on.
