Nioxin and Scalpmed: Weight Gain? (Topicals)

Hi Guys,
I have been applying nioxin for a few months and switched to Scalpmed product around 30 days ago.

My three questions are as follows:

1) The scalpmed product gets over 90 degrees in shipping. Does this ruin its efficacy?

2) Is one product more successful than the other?

3) I have experienced monster appetite and around 10lb weight gain in the last 3 months. Could this be related to either product?

Thanks in advance for your time,

G

Nioxin and Scalpmed: Weight Gain?

Scalpmed contains minoxidil.
Weight gain is one of the side effects of minoxidil.

Nioxin and Scalpmed: Weight Gain?

1. No, heat should not ruin the efficacy as the ingredients are quite stable. If it were a peptide or something similar, then yes.

2. Scalpmed is, by far, more effective. Most likely because it contains 5% minoxidil. The other ingredients are questionable at best. Have you tried just plain minoxidil?

3. I really doubt that it would have any impact on your appetite, but I am not a doctor.
