connection between hairloss and dandruf? (Hair Multiplication & Research)

hey ive notice that ever since my hair has been falling i have an increased amount of dandruf on my scalp...people say that they have no connection but i think they do.. everyone i know that is suffereing from hair loss has some form of dandruf.. what do u guys think?

ť I think this is what is known as a lurking variable. Just because two
ť occurrences (A & B) happen together, does not mean that A causes B or B
ť causes A.
ť Let's take for example,
ť
ť Occurrence A: In someone's house, a cat dies.
ť
ť And
ť
ť Occurrence B: In the same house, which previously had tasty eggs every
ť morning at 8:00, there are no longer tasty eggs at any time of day.
ť
ť This does not mean that eggs are no longer cooked because the cat died, or
ť that the cat died because the cooking of eggs was stopped.
ť In fact there could be a "lurking variable" (C), for example:
ť
ť Occurrence C: The old lady who lived in the house died and no one knew for
ť a year.

for many people i know.... they started the hairloss then the dandruf started right after.. so to me i believe thier related unless u already had dandruff to begin with

I think this is what is known as a lurking variable. Just because two occurrences (A & B) happen together, does not mean that A causes B or B causes A.
Let's take for example,

Occurrence A: In someone's house, a cat dies.

And

Occurrence B: In the same house, which previously had tasty eggs every morning at 8:00, there are no longer tasty eggs at any time of day.

This does not mean that eggs are no longer cooked because the cat died, or that the cat died because the cooking of eggs was stopped.
In fact there could be a "lurking variable" (C), for example:

Occurrence C: The old lady who lived in the house died and no one knew for a year.
